Adding in the FusedAlti barometer techonology, combined with the GPS data allows more precise altitude information, as well as sunset/sunrise times, and storm alarms when a sudden drop in pressure occurs.
Adding to the Sport's already incredible function set, advanced navigation upgrades include route navigation with ETA and remaining distance to destination information. POI is improved with user-defined POI alarms, as well as dedicated ski features in alpine sports modes. These include run lengths, maximum speed during descents, and a run counter.
Bundled with a chest heart rate monitor, this allows even more accurate heart rate information, which is transmitted via the watch to compatible Android and Apple smartphones, to the Suunto Movescount app and online portal to maximise your training.
