Trek Supercaliber 9.8 XT Mountain Bike 2022 Trek's Supercaliber 9.8 XT Mountain Bike combines an efficient frame design with a high-performance groupset and carbon wheels to create a race-ready machine that is both fast and fun, ideal for cross country racing or high-tempo training rides. The FOX Performance 32 front fork features a unique stepped design profile to shave some weight off and enhance functionality while offering three on the go compression settings. It uses a Kabolt thru-axle for a secure and confident ride experience with only an Allen key needed for installation and removal. The frame integrated IsoStrut rear suspension is subtle in appearance but powerful in performance. The 60mm travel offers good traction and control while keeping the weight lower than longer travel bikes. Carbon is very much the focus of the construction and components, with the Bontrager Kovee PRO 30 wheelset offering a confidence-inspiring feel, and the broader rim width supporting the tyres' sidewalls for better stability in fast corners. The one-piece bar and stem combination keeps it neat with seamless integration of Blendr compatible accessories, while the carbon structure is lightweight and durable. Shimano's XT M8100 groupset provides 12 gears with the 10-51T cassette range perfect for steep hills and speedy descents, while the shifting delivers fast and precise performance.
