By using an Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame rather than carbon for the Remedy 8 XT 27.5" Mountain Bike, Trek has been able to offer all the performance of the higher priced models at a more accessible price point. The frame still has 150mm of travel and uses a RockShox Deluxe RT3 rear shock and a 160mm RockShox Lyrik Select Plus fork along with Shimano?s excellent XT drivetrain, Bontrager Line Comp 30 27.5? wheels and Line Dropper seatpost so that its credentials remain intact.
