Trek Rail 9 Electric Mountain Bike 2021 The Trek Rail 9 Electric Mountain Bike is an alloy steed equipped with a premium full-suspension set up and components that eat up tough trails with glee. The addition of the powerful, compact Bosch Performance CX motor adds 250W of assistance up to 25km/h, so a power top-up comes in handy to aid challenging climbs. The Bosch PowerTube 625 battery is neatly concealed within the tough alloy frame when in use, but can be removed tool-free with ease should a charge be needed - it also completes a full charge in just under five hours. This bike's geometry can also be fine-tuned to accommodate rider preference using the Mino Link. The RockShox ZEB fork boasts 160mm of travel for all-mountain capability, and is ultra-responsive with burly 38mm stanchions. Rear suspension comes in the form of the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate RT3 shock, complete with an updated damper to provide plush suspension that makes for a super smooth ride. When opening it up on descents or sweeping corners, the Bontrager Line Elite Dropper seatpost gets the saddle out of the way so weight can be kept back and low and SRAM Code R 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful, rapid stopping. 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle components leave no need to grind it up steeper gradients, with a low 52-tooth climbing gear catering for challenging terrain and the Eagle drivetrain ensuring solid shifting.
