Trek Project One Madone SLR 7 eTap Road Bike 2021 Trek's Madone SLR 7 eTap Road Bike is a super aerodynamic race-ready machine with an ultralight 800 Series OCLV carbon fibre construction. Wind drag is reduced with the aero tapered tube frame design and neatly integrated cables, the latter preventing unwanted obstructions in the cockpit. To eliminate road buzz, the adjustable Top Tube IsoSpeed system utilises an elastomer to soak up vibrations. SRAM's Force eTap AXS groupset is an electronic drivetrain system that operates without wires. The 12-speed cassette offers a wide range of gears, while the SRAM Force AXS power meter provides advanced training analysis. The wheelset is Bontrager's Pro 5 from the Aeolus range, offering stability and comfort while optimising aerodynamic performance, and DT Swiss Aerolite spokes add to the rim strength and durability. The hubs feature a 24-point engagement for fast acceleration speeds, plus they support a Center Lock disc that delivers significant braking power by the hydraulic system. The rim can be set up tubeless for puncture protection and supports up to a 28c tyre, and the Bontrager R3 tread will provide added resistance against road debris.
