Trek E-Caliber 9.9 XTR Electric Mountain Bike 2021 Designed to offer natural, lightweight assistance on climbs and flats, the Trek E-Caliber 9.9 XTR Electric Mountain Bike is equipped with a low-profile Fazua Evation motor system to deliver 55Nm of punchy assistance when required. Utilising the same IsoStrut suspension layout as the World Cup-winning Supercaliber model, 60mm of rear suspension travel is integrated into the top tube to deliver exceptional traction and vibration-damping comfort. Capable of being run with or without the battery, the 2.9kg system can be removed to enhance the handling of the bike, with an included cover offering in-frame storage in its place. Even with the addition of the battery and motor, this bike is lightweight, offering a ride character that mimics that of a conventional, non-electric bike. 55Nm of torque delivers a boost for technical ascents, and 250Wh of battery capacity extends your playtime, helping to keep your legs feeling fresh. Equipped with Shimano’s flagship XTR 12-speed drivetrain and four-piston hydraulic brakes, this bike provides smooth, crisp shifts and supreme braking performance for ultimate control. The FOX 34 Step-Cast fork offers 120mm of slick, bump-eating suspension, with its unique shape optimising its stiffness to weight ratio to track well through rough terrain. The OCLV carbon frameset is joined by ultralight Bontrager Kovee XXX carbon wheels, as well as a selection of high-end Bontrager carbon finishing kit.
