Trek Checkpoint ALR 5 Gravel Bike 2023 Trek's Checkpoint ALR 5 Disc Gravel Bike is highly versatile and suited to a variety of riding styles, with a progressive geometry that is designed to be stable at speed and efficient at climbing. The 300 Series Alpha Aluminium frame has multiple mounting points for a rear rack, hydration bottles, mudguards for the wetter weather, and luggage so it can carry as much or as little as is needed. Tubeless-ready Paradigm rims and wide 700x40c gravel-specific tyres add stability and traction and the spacious fork design allows a maximum of 45mm tyres for that chunkier gravel. The stem is compatible with Blendr accessories for integration of Bontrager specific technology. The Blendr mounts allow you to add lighting and a GPS device without taking up any space on the handlebar. The GRX groupset is Shimano's gravel-specific offering, pairing a 46/30 chainset with an 11-speed wide ratio cassette providing enough gears for climbing when carrying extra luggage weight or descending forest singletracks. The GRX hydraulic disc brakes deliver powerful stopping technology in all weather conditions.
