The 2024 Trek Checkpoint SL 5 is a carbon gravel bike made for epic adventures. Its built with lightweight OCLV Carbon and terrain-smoothing damped IsoSpeed. Its capable of crushing the longest, roughest rides and the most ambitious bikepacking trips. The Checkpoint SL is built around a 500 Series OCLV Carbon fibre frame with damped rear IsoSpeed. The Isospeed decoupler allows a small amount of controlled movement in the frame to soak up bumps and let you stay in the saddle, and on the power, for longer. The Checkpoint has progressive geometry thats stable at speed and efficient when youre grinding up a climb. It also comes with internal frame storage, hidden cables that wont interfere with bags and integrated frame, fork, rack and mudguard mounts.The Checkpoint SL 5 comes with a 2x12 Shimano GRX drivetrain.
