The suspension kinematics have been revised to work cohesively with air or coil shocks. While providing 140mm travel as stock, the shock can be swapped for one with a longer stroke to provide 150mm travel. Teamed with a longer 160mm fork and you can really let the Scout rip! The tried and tested SBG geometry has been refined further too, with a shorter seat tube and lower standover to provide extra clearance for the latest long-travel dropper posts. Such is the clearance than even the medium size can take a 210mm dropper post with ease! The frame also features neat internal cable routing with guide tubes as well as flush mount chainstay, seatstay and down tube protection. The front triangle also has an accessory mount underneath the top tube as well as a bottle cage mount, so you can ditch the hydration pack once and for all!The Scout Carbon GX comes decked out with a great value parts kit that is built to take a beating and perform to a high level. The super plush Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate fork and Super Deluxe Ultimate shock provide 150mm and 140mm of travel respectively and provide incredible traction, comfort and control over rough terrain. There's also a pedal platform on the shock to help you get up any climb as efficiently as possible. SRAM provide the incredibly versatile GX Eagle groupset, with a wide range 12-speed 10-50t cassette. Teamed with a lightweight Truvativ Stylo DUB crank, you'll have all the gears you need for any terrain. SRAM also supply the hugely powerful Code RSC brakes with 180mm rotors, so you can be sure you'll be able to slow down when required with ease.Finishing off the build nicely is a set of Stans NoTubes Flow S1 wheelset shod in Maxxis Assegai/DHR II EXO+ tyres that grip tenaciously in all conditions and aren't afraid to hit the big lines. Contact points are provided by OneUp Components and ANVL, with a ANVL handlebar & stem teamed with comfortable ANVL grips, while an ANVL saddle sits atop the OneUp Components Dropper Seatpost to ensure you can always have the saddle right where you need it.
