It's made using 'Ultralight Aluminium' which is 50% stronger than ordinary aluminium, using less material so the overall weight is lower. Ultralight Aluminium is lightweight and very conductive, so it spreads heat quickly and evenly - your food won't burn and stick to the centre of the frying pan. The hard surface is very resistant to scratching and wear, and easy to clean. The Trangia Gas burner provides more heat than a conventional meths burner, without leaving any deposits on the pans.
