The Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock poles are a lightweight walking pole with built in shock absorption which can be preferable to a non AS pole. This pole works in two ways; an elastomer rubber ring under the handle will take micro shocks whilst the FlickLock Pro system works as a piston to absorb larger shocks on the hill. Black Diamond have built the Trail Pro Shock pole with lightweight alloy to make sure it's light and therefore comfortable to use and the swing weight feels light as all the weight is in the handle rather than further down the pole. The grip is made from dual density foam for comfort and a padded webbing strap is included for comfort and safety. Carbide tech tips have been included along with low profile trekking baskets and these are easy to change with a screw thread rather than push on system.
