&tradition Pendant Mat black Metal. Dimensions: Ø 35 x H 40 cm - Cable: L 400 cm. The aim of the Danish Space Copenhagen studio was to design a lamp in industrial look which would be elegant and poetic, too. Copenhagen pendant was inspired by old lanterns that decorated ships in the 19th century. The form of this pendant reminds us of gaslights – the ancient street lamps that used to shed light on streets in Copenhagen. This archetypal form is already a part of our collective memory. The cable coated in black fabric and the coloured, mat finish are extremely elegant. Further, Copenhagen pendant is characterised by high quality light – there is a direct and indirect light at the same time (the light escapes from the upper and lower part of the lampshade). In addition to the direct and functional source of light, this pendant creates a lovely lighting atmosphere.
