Description
&tradition Lounge armchair White Textile. Dimensions: L 69 x Depth 69 cm x H 80 cm – Seat: H 42 x Depth 50 cm. Released in 1956, the Boomerang lounge chair stands out as an essential piece of Danish design. It was designed by Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993): these pioneers of Danish design from the middle of the 20th century had an avant-gardist approach to industrialised production. Now their work is exhibited in MoMA, at the National Gallery of Melbourne and the Design Museum of Copenhagen. The Boomerang armchair is the result of fifteen years of experience and a bond between the two designers who are passionate about traditional Danish artisanal techniques that they learnt at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. The Boomerang chair consists of a solid wooden base (oak or walnut) embellished with a soft cushion. The very comfortable seat on springs ensures optimal comfort. The conical brass legs perfect the clean outline and strengthen the vintage look of this piece. Boomerang is a timeless and robust armchair. It's a piece of furniture that can be passed down from generation to generation... Karakorum is a wool and viscose bouclé fabric, which is inspired by the wonderful astrakhan furs, with a comfortable and thick velvety feel. > Flash sale: special price for a limited time only.
