Cut in our favourite 'dry-look' waterproof fabric, it combines practical features with contemporary styling, so it's fit for the city, but just as trusty for clifftop walks. Designed in colours that reflect the Yorkshire coastline, Beamsley is utterly reliable when it comes to protecting you from showers, with fully taped seams to ensure that not a drop gets through, and an invisible waterproof coating so rain just beads off. A wired peak lets you shape the hood by bending it around your face, which really helps to keep the rain off. Light in weight, with a smooth lining, it's ideal for layering with a fleece or thin padded jacket. Details are kept to a minimum with most stitching kept out of sight for a crisp, clean look. Patch pockets are big enough for a paperback book and on top there's an open pocket with a warm cosy lining to pop your hands into.
