New from Tiptree, this decadently delicious Chocolate Spread is made with real Belgian Chocolate and is also nut free, palm oil free and Kosher certified. Spread it lavishly onto buttered toast, croissants, pancakes and waffles, or stir it into hot porridge. Alternatively, heat it gently and then drizzle it over desserts, ice cream and strawberries. The Wilkin family started fruit farming in the Essex village of Tiptree in 1865. To prevent the produce from spoiling on long journeys, they started turning it into jam in 1885. Wilkin & Sons Limited began to expand from just making 'conserve' using homegrown fruit, to also crafting 'preserve' using imported fruit. Now, Wilkin & Sons and the Tiptree jams created at their Trewlands factory are world famous. Keenly aware of the impact of the climate emergency, Tiptree has also become a market leader environmentally, reducing their chemical use by 80% and plastic in their packaging, planting thousands of non-fruit trees and hedgerows, and even becoming a Demonstration Farm for LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming).
