Taller than many varieties, Veronica ‘Lavender Lightsaber’ is ideal for adding height to narrow borders or to the middle of wide borders. Sit back and watch the pollinators flock in! Small mauve flowers are tightly clustered into elegant, upright spikes that are irresistible to bees and butterflies. This spike speedwell is easy to grow, has a long flowering period and pairs beautifully with a contrasting flower shapes, such as Echinacea purpurea. Height: 75cm (30in). Spread: 50cm (20in).Plant your Veronica in a sunny, well-drained spot. Deadhead spent flowerheads to prolong flowering season, and any tired-looking foliage can also be cut back after flowering. Plants can be divided in spring or autumn to increase your stock.
