Description
Strawberry Vibrant will grow lots of fruit, usually medium-to-large conical shaped. The berries are usually shiny brilliant red in colour protruding from long elegant stems. Each truss carries only 4 to 5 flowers, which will then grow larger fruits. Plants will grow from May through to June, and may crop a 2nd time around about September!Vibrant likes to be planted in a sheltered sunny position in well manured, free draining soil. The runners need to be spaced out at 73cm apart. Place in the soil level to where the crown will poke above the surface and don’t plant too deeply or they may rot. Grow in hanging baskets or specially designed planters.Plant height and spread is seasonal, therefore, we list by pot size rather than defined plant size.
