Blooming continuously from July until the first frosts, Rudbeckia 'Enchanted Cosmic Eye' is a semi-double, golden-yellow variety with a striking chocolate centre. Rudbeckias rank among the most versatile garden annuals, boasting distinctive appearance, sturdiness, and an exceptionally long flowering season. The semi-double flowers, reaching up to 10cm (4") in diameter, perch atop sturdy, weather-resistant stems above tidy mounds of foliage, allowing ample space for neighbouring plants. From July to October, these nectar-rich blooms attract bees and butterflies, making them a delightful addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Rudbeckia 'Enchanted Cosmic Eye' thrives when planted in bold clusters throughout beds and borders, or when adorning patio pots. Once well-established and all frost risks have passed, gradually introduce them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting in sunny or partially shaded areas. Rudbeckia thrives in fertile, preferably heavy soil rich in organic matter and well-drained. While they appreciate moisture, they dislike drought and soil that dries out during summer.
