Description
Lathyrus latifolius is a charming perennial Sweet Pea, returning year after year to delight you with its purple-pink flowers. This resilient variety will happily ramble through shrubs and perennial borders without becoming a nuisance. Excellent for adding a splash of colour, it will sprawl down tricky slopes and embankments to form quick-growing summer ground cover. Although unscented and perhaps less showy than its annual cousins, this perennial Sweet Pea is a sensational and low maintenance addition to any garden. The Kew Pollinators range of seeds from Thompson and Morgan has been specially created alongside the experts at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to attract and support a wide range of pollinators, including bees, butterflies and beetles, as well as a number of other important pollinating insects. Helping these pollinators to thrive is hugely important for our eco-system as a whole and these seeds, in their striking packaging inspired by artwork from the Kew archives, will help to create the environment which they need to thrive, with varieties chosen to help a wide range of pollinating insects, including some night flowering plants to help moths which also play an important part in our gardens.Product specifications:Position: Full SunHeight: Up to 200cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 100cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1x Sweet Pea Kew Pollination Collection seed packet (approx. 10 seeds)Flowering period – June to SeptemberImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
