Pea 'Hurst Green Shaft' is a double-podded variety renowned for its abundant yields, often boasting up to 11 peas per pod measuring 10-12cm (4-4 1/2") in length. Supplied as 1 x packet of 250 seeds.For outdoor cultivation, direct sow peas from March to June once the soil has sufficiently warmed. Select a weed-free area with moist, fertile, and well-drained soil, ensuring it receives full sun exposure. Sow the pea seeds in flat-bottomed drills, spacing them 5cm (2") apart and planting them at a depth of 4cm (1 1/2"). Maintain a row-to-row distance of 75cm (30").
