Unlike most lilac bushes, which bloom for just a few weeks in spring, Thompson & Morgan Lilac ‘Bloomerang Dark Purple’ flowers from spring to summer, takes a short break during the hottest weeks of summer, and then flowers again from late summer all the way up until the first frosts. Panicles of rich, purple, highly fragrant flowers are borne above neat, compact growth. Perfect for enticing wildlife into your garden, the blooms of Thompson & Morgan Lilac ‘Bloomerang Dark Purple’ are attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. Able to fit into most gardens without becoming unruly, this hardy shrub forms a naturally mounding habit, and the flowers are also superb for cutting and bringing indoors.
