Description
An almost unkillable houseplant! Sansevieria is practically indestructible, and ideal for busy or neglectful growers. You’ll love the fabulous foliage of Sansevieria zeylanica, which is rippled with dark green bands against a pale, silvery-green background, lending it a striking, reptilian appearance. Easy to care for, this tough plant adapts to lower light levels, can withstand drought and remove toxins, such as benzene and formaldehyde, from the air.Sansevieria is an adaptable plant, growing happily in average room temperatures of 15C (60F) - 24C (75F). It prefers a brightly lit position with some sun and some shade throughout the day, however it will tolerate full sun or shade if necessary. Sansevieria even copes well with cold draughts, making it suitable for a well-used entrance hall. Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested.
