Tillandsia xerographica boasts a mature length of up to 3 feet, surpassing its fellow Tillandsia species. It forms a compact rosette of broad, silvery-green leaves with tapered ends, gracefully spiralling into a captivating tangle of tentacles reminiscent of an octopus. Under optimal conditions, it may produce an impressive flower spike, reaching up to 40cm, adorned with striking red/purple flowers nestled within yellow bracts. Notably, these plants bloom only once in their lifetime, succeeded by new pups emerging at the base. With its hygienic and air-purifying attributes, this living adornment thrives without soil, making it fuss-free and low maintenance.Air Plants, or Tillandsia, native to rainforests, naturally cling to rocks and tree branches, drawing the necessary moisture and nutrients from the surrounding air. Requiring minimal care to flourish, these tropical plants thrive with ample light and humidity.
