Description
The colourful variegated foliage of Sage ‘Tricolor’ is deeply aromatic, making it a particularly attractive addition to the herb garden and useful for adding a rich flavour to vegetable and meat dishes, and for making your own traditional sage and onion stuffing. Sage is undemanding and easy to grow, tolerating periods of drought with ease once established. Grow sage in warm, dry conditions for leaves with the best flavour. Prune plant after flowering to help maintain an attractive shape and encourage lots of new growth. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 90cm (36"). Plant sage at a distance of 38cm (15") apart on any fertile, free draining, non-acidic soil in full sun.
