Description
Rosemary ‘Corsican’ is one of the strongest flavoured varieties of this essential culinary herb and is perfect for casseroles, lamb dishes, soups and more. This compact variety has a semi-trailing habit, which is perfect for cascading over walls, steps and rockeries or tumbling from containers. In addition to its highly aromatic foliage, each spring and early summer plants bear an abundance of bright blue flowers which attract pollinating insects. Rosemary makes an attractive and hardy evergreen shrub, ideal for coastal gardens, Mediterranean gardens and low maintenance planting schemes. Culinary note: Rosemary goes well with lamb and chicken. Add Rosemary to tomato soup and stews. Rosemary tea is said to help headaches, colic and colds. Grow Rosemary plants in any well drained soil in full sun at a distance of 60cm (2”) apart. Rosemary is undemanding and requires little aftercare. Prune lightly in late spring to maintain an attractive shape.
