Gazania hybrida 'Talent Mixed' blooms in a bright and colourful mix of white, yellow and orange flowers. From June to October, cheery, open flowers blooms on short stems which will tolerate windy coastal positions Even when not in bloom, this compact Treasure Flower makes an attractive display with its decorative silvery foliage. This is a delightful dwarf bedding plant that’s perfect for adding long lasting colour to the edges of borders and patio pots.,p>Sow gazania from February to April on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Lightly cover the seed with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place the seed tray in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25C (64-77F) or seal it inside a polythene bag. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged and not exclude light as this aids germination which usually takes 14-30 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors.
