Description
Copper Beech can be grown to almost any height (up to 12m) to create a neat and tidy screen in your garden. When grown side by side, plants will knit together to form a dense, interwoven hedge that makes a good barrier. The colourful foliage makes a decorative feature and, just like Green Beech, plants will retain some of their autumn foliage through the winter, so the stems are rarely completely bare. With a neat and tidy habit, this well-behaved hedging plant is easy to maintain and only needs clipping once or twice a year. Planting distance: 30cm (12in).(4 plants per metre for a single line hedge). Height: 12m (39ft). Spread: 8m (26ft).Plant beech hedging in fertile, well-drained soil. Fagus hedging is suitable for positions in full sun or partial shade.Product specifications:Position: Sun or Semi-ShadeHeight: Up to 12m when fully establishedSpread: Up to 8m when fully establishedSupplied as 2 x Copper Beech 2-litre potted plants Flowering period: March to AprilImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
