Description
With towering spikes, these plants are ideal for adding drama and structure to borders. The stunning blooms can be seen throughout June and July, and are also ideal for cut flowers. A very popular variety that is perfect for cottage garden borders. Pot up delphinium plants using free draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails. Product Specifications: Hardy perennial. Position: full sun.
