These stunning patio chrysanthemums will provide masses of domed yellow, pink and ruby red blooms from late August to early November, perfect for brightening up your garden in the autumn! This variety will also be ideal as cut flowers, due to the strong stems and long lasting blooms for elegant indoor displays!Pot up hardy chrysanthemum plants and grow them on in bright frost free conditions. Pinch out the top 5cm of each stem when they reach a height of 15cm to produce a bushier plant with more flowers. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise chrysanthemum plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before planting them out in borders and containers in fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a position in full sun.Water regularly until hardy chrysanthemums are fully established. In late autumn the application of deep mulch will help to protect the crowns of the plants over winter. Leave the flowered stems intact until spring as these will also offer some winter protection.
