The Thompson and Morgan Begonia 'Nonstop Rose Petticoat' Half-hardy Perennial has beautiful double blooms that are a beautiful white with a deep rose picotee and an eye-catching deeply frilled petal. The begonia has a large 10cm (4in) bloom that will show off its beauty through the summer and into the autumn – June throughout to October. These begonias have a height up to 25cm (10in) and a spread of 30cm (12in) so these wonderful attractive ‘Rose Petticoat’ begonia will look good in your garden patio containers, window boxes and hanging baskets.. Culinary note: Add the bright coloured petals to sandwiches or salads for a light lemon taste and crisp texture. Begonia plugs can be planted straight into Flower Pouches™ but are best potted on first and grown on in bright, frost-free conditions if to be displayed in baskets, window boxes or pots. They can be transplanted into their final containers once they have increased in size. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise Begonias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before placing them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds. Feed and water begonia plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new begonia flower buds to drop. Deadhead faded begonia flowers regularly to extend the flowering period and encourage more blooms to be produced. Plant Size - Height & Spread up to 45cm (18in).
