Description
Non-stop by name, non-stop by nature! Begonia 'Non-Stop Mixed' will keep flowering well into autumn – long after most summer flowering plants have faded. The fully double flowers of Begonia 'Non-Stop Mixed' come in a sensational range of shades, offering long-lasting, weather resistant blooms to delight you from July to October. Perfect for containers, beds and borders. Culinary note: add the bright coloured petals to sandwiches or salads for a light lemon taste and crisp texture. Height and spread: 30cm (12"). Tubers are ideal for containers and baskets, making a larger plant in the first year than plug plants or growing from seed. From February, start tuberous begonias off in well-drained, moist compost in a warm, frost-free position in bright light. When planting begonia tubers, position them just below the compost surface with the indented side facing upwards. In hanging baskets the tubers can be planted at a 45-degree angle with their roots toward the centre, to encourage plants to cascade over the sides of the basket. When begonia plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before planting them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds. Please note: This product cannot be delivered outside the United Kingdom. Product specifications:Position: Sun or Semi-Shade or Dappled Shade. Height: Up to 30cm when fully established. Spread: Up to 30cm when fully established.
