Beetroot ‘Boltardy’ is one of the most popular varieties of globe beetroot available, and a longstanding customer favourite. So good it has even earned itself a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit! As you would expect, the roots are a lovely spherical shape with a deep crimson colour that adds a real splash of colour to your dinner plate. Boil them and serve cold in salads or as a hot vegetable. Perfect for pickling too! Beetroot are extremely easy to grow from seed. With regular sowings (every 2 weeks) you can enjoy a constant supply of deliciously sweet and tender roots from June to October.
