It’s no surprise that Runner Bean ‘Firestorm’ has collected a Gardening Which Award as well as a prestigious RHS AGM. This superb variety produces masses of completely self fertile, scarlet flowers that will set a crop regardless of high temperatures or poor weather. The flavoursome, stringless beans can be harvested throughout the summer. Pick them regularly to ensure a constant supply. Runner Beans are quick growing climbers with bright flowers and large leaves. They make an ornamental feature in the vegetable plot or grown among flower borders where they will attract bees and other pollinators to the garden.
