This popular standard plant is elegant and graceful, ideal gracing either side of your front door, or as a focal point for your garden. The leaves are evergreen so will be attractive all year round, and in spring, it will produce clusters of pale yellow flowers which attract pollinating insects.Bay Trees have aromatic and flavoursome leaves which can be used in cooking, particularly popular in casseroles and stews. They like to be planted in full sun, but can tolerate semi shade, in fertile well-drained soil. Use a stake to support it while it grows.
