Description
Rhododendron ‘Luteum’ has showy, golden yellow blooms that fill the air with perfume throughout May and June with a sweet, powerful fragrance. The mid-green leaves of this deciduous yellow Azalea display fiery shades of orange in autumn, providing seasonal interest well into October. This large Azalea forms a rounded, open shrub which will cope well in a sunny position provided the soil remains moist. Thompson & Morgan Rhododendron ‘Luteum’ will make a striking specimen plants for woodland style gardens, or when grown in in large acidic borders alongside other shrubs and trees. Many dwarf Rhododendrons can cope with a sunny position as long as the soil remains moist. For alkaline soils, Rhododendrons are best grown in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous and soil based composts. Supplied as 2 x 4 Litre Potted Plant.
