Description
This stunning double Japanese Anemone has elegant pale violet ruffled petals and will look fantastic whether planted in borders or containers. This will continue to flower through until October providing colour to the garden when other plants have stopped flowering. Pot up using free-draining compost, and grow plants on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown, acclimatise anemones to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out on moist fertile, well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Anemone plants dislike wet ground, particularly during winter. Improve soil conditions by adding plenty of well-rotted manure or compost prior to planting.
