A set of G-Plan 'Quadrille' design, nested occasional tables in solid Golden Teak, in very good used condition. Compact in proportions, streamlined in style & very practical, these are pre loved used tables in very good condition, with some light signs of wear commensurate with age. There are a few small scratches to the top of the largest one - please view photographs for details - these are polished & are barely noticeable. They are sound & clean with no damage or staining. Designed by R. Bennett for G-Plan in 1966, interpreting the clean lines of Danish furniture design which had permeated the new furniture market in 1950s Britain, introducing modern innovative design to the post war homemakers. in their very good unrestored original condition these stylish pieces with their modernist TV shape end frames epitomise mid century clean lines, in beautiful natural teak wood. Note: The colour of the frames is a contrasting darker brown than the tops which are the more golden hued teak, not the red tone often seen in the G-Plan sideboards & Chests of Drawers. Dimensions of largest table: 53cm x 43cm x 49.5cm (21 x 17 x 19.5) G-Plan label to base of smallest table. Delivery costs are estimated.
