Theko The classic and again modern oriental carpet has a particularly delicate design. Originally this pattern was developed in the 19th century in north-western Persia by Kurdish master knotters. Their speciality was to reinterpret individual motifs from the Persian knotting tradition. This resulted in a series of innovative and original designs, which are often repeated in endless repeats in the inner field. The elegant palmette border gives it a "timelessly elegant touch"".
