Description
The Tecnica Women's Sulfur GORE-TEX shoe is the perfect combination of climbing performance and hiking comfort. The Vibram Megagrip outsole offers superb grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The multi-directional lug pattern is ready to take on different terrains while a flat climbing zone at the toe gives advanced precision for slabs and edges. Under the arch of the foot is a rubber grip with ‘teeth’ for use on slippery ridges, as well as via ferrata rungs and ladders. A lightweight rubber rand adds further protection and abrasion resistance on the move. The Edge Frame plate at the core of the shoe provides stiffness and support for climbing, while still allowing the shoe to flex freely where needed. The Sulfur midsole is specifically designed with two different density areas: a higher density area from the midfoot to the toe for stability and a lower density area underneath the heel to give greater cushioning.
