TaylorMade Stealth Plus+ Golf Driver The 2022 TaylorMade Stealth Plus+ Driver offers golfers increased distance, ball speed and forgiveness due to the use of the sixty layers of carbon fiber that are used on the face of the club. Rather than using titanium, carbon fiber means that the Stealth Plus+ is 44% lighter compared to clubs that use titanium face. Because of this weight reduction, the face of the club is much larger than other TaylorMade drivers, such as the SIM2. This larger face allows for an increase of the amount of power that can be transferred through to the ball when striking, meaning increased distance, ball speed and forgiveness. Because of weight saved using the 60X Carbon Twist Face TaylorMade was able to add a 10g sliding weight to the Stealth Plus+. This sliding weight system is designed to help golfers control the shape of their shots by moving the weight on the sole. This will allow for players to create their desired ball flight. The driver also includes Speed Pocket technology, used within several of TaylorMade’s previous drivers. This tech helps increase the distance of shots, but is especially useful for those who may hit low face strikes. The face is also covered in a nanotexture cover which is used to increase launch, spin and distance of drives no matter the playing conditions. TaylorMade’s Asymmetric Inertia Generator improves the way the club cuts through the air on a downswing. This creates a slippery fast head to increase swing speeds for golfers of any level, plus a futuristic and stealthy look. This look blends the sole faces appearance of the TaylorMade SIM and SIM2. The club itself looks like a high tech cannon with the large red and black face and inertia generator. Ready to fire a ball miles down the fairway in a cloud of smoke and ash. 60X CARBON TWIST FACE Twenty years of development marks the end of the titanium era. The all new 60X Carbon Twist Face is 44% lighter than an equivalent titanium face, while also being 11% larger than SIM2 and SIM2 Max drivers and nearly 20% larger than the 2020 SIM driver. Sixty layers of carbon fiber have been strategically designed to optimize energy transfer to deliver fast ball speeds over a large area, resulting in optimal distance and forgiveness. NANOTEXTURE COVER The 60X Carbon Twist Face is encased by a polyurethane cover, featuring a revolutionary new nanotexture technology. The nanotexture cover is used to fine tune launch and spin to optimize total distance regardless of playing conditions. ASYMMETRIC INERTIA GENERATOR The Inertia Generator remains the foundational source of refined aerodynamic properties. The result is a slippery-fast head shape that aids in swing speed generation on the downswing for golfers at every level. SLIDING WEIGHT TRACK Weight savings from the 60x Carbon Twist Face allowed the use of a 10g sliding weight.
