TaylorMade Stealth Fairway Wood TaylorMade has designed the Stealth Fairway Wood to offer golfers greater forgiveness on shots while also still offering plenty of power so that it is easier than ever to create long arching ball flights from the fairway whilst also allowing for escapes from tricky situations in the semi rough. A lightweight 3D carbon crown has been used in the design of this TaylorMade Fairway Wood to allow for weight in the clubhead to be moved away from the high toe area. This means that more of the weight can be positioned at the back of the club, allowing for optimal forgiveness and maximum playability on a range of different shot types. The face of the club uses the patented TaylorMade Twist Face technology made famous in previous TaylorMade models like the SIM 2 Max. The face has had additional loft added and been opened up with corrective angle designs to allow for golfers to overcome any mishits while still being able to produce straighter shots. While the face has been designed to help players overcome their mishits and increase accuracy, the V Steel sole plate has been installed to offer forgiveness on strokes with better interaction with the turf. Creating a club that gives users a safer and more accurate option for those riskier shots. The Stealth Fairway Wood also has a laser etched alignment aid on the face of the club. This alignment aid creates a visual contrast between the face and crown which helps to create a confidence boost by helping players concentrate on the accuracy of their aim when lining up their shot. TaylorMade has used a flexible Speed Pocket design, which has been used in several of TaylorMade’s previous driver designs, so that golfers can easily create increased distance on their shots while also maximising golf ball speeds.
