Ritzenhoff & Breker The rounded contours of the Taste 600ml soup bowl are reminiscent of the pebbles one finds on a beach or shore. Over the course of many thousands of years, these formerly angular rock fragments were bumped, rubbed, and gradually smoothed as they were transported by rivers and the sea. They formed countless soft, organically rounded, asymmetrically shaped pebbles, the design of which has inspired this soup bowl. The nature-oriented aesthetic is perfected by the slightly uneven and faded-looking coloured edges and small specks of colour that evoke patina, defects, and signs of wear - all of which give the soup bowl character.
