This includes the mic holder, which utilises both a shoe mount and ¼"" thread to provide tripod and camera mounting options. Characterised as a supercardioid condenser microphone, the TM-200SG captures focused sound with minimal background noise. This is a massive improvement on in-camera sound recording, as most camera systems use omnidirectional microphones. To further enhance vocal intelligibility, you are afforded a 30Hz to 20kHz frequency response as well as a gentle presence boost at around the 7kHz mark. Alongside this, you have access to a switchable low-cut filter to deal with ambient bass buildup and a balanced XLR 3-pin output - with the TM-200SG running on standard 48 VDC phantom power.
