Now you can bring a piece of the Mediterranean home with the Beachworld Red Shrimp Glass Sphere Ecosystem, designed off of the Mediterranean Sea. This perfectly spherical biosphere comes delivered as a completely sealed container that is ready to be admired in your home. The sphere contains blue crystals and shells for decoration as well as living shrimp! This miniature ecosystem has been designed to be self-sustaining so you’ll never need to change the water or feed the shrimp as everything they need is in the sphere. This sphere has a diameter of 12.5cm. This technology was originally tested by NASA and now you can bring it into your home. The biosphere collects sunlight and grows micro-algae which the shrimp then feed on to stay alive, and without any of nature predators in the sphere these shrimps can live for a very long time. This biosphere needs to be in artificial light or daylight for at least 6-8 hours a day and needs to be kept within a temperature ranging from 16°-26° C. This would be a fantastically beautiful statement piece in any home with its stunning looks and soothing qualities. Please note: This package needs to be opened immediately upon delivery as the ecosystem cannot survive for sustained periods without sunlight. The shrimps may seem still upon arrival but that is due to the cold conditions inside the box.
