Twin pack: Thermostat from tado° for smart radiator control These radiator thermostats can be added to the tado° Starter Kits. They take the place of conventional radiator thermostats. tado°'s Smart Radiator Thermostats can be fitted to all standard radiators using the adapters supplied. Via radio, they communicate with the Starter Kit (see accessories), whose Internet Bridge is connected to the router and thus establishes the connection to the tado° app on the smartphone. This enables a wide range of control options based on location, weather forecast, settings for individual rooms or a smart schedule. Data on outdoor air quality (e.g. pollen count) allows ventilation times to be optimised. tado° also takes account of the increasingly popular voice control; the smart radiator thermostats can be accessed via Siri, Amazon Echo or Google Assistant. Home automation can also be linked to event-based scenes using IFTTT.
