Description
The Jar is a portable, battery-operated lantern. It consists of a beautiful, vintage Mason jar housing a 40 LED string light. When the string is switched on each LED illuminates with a soft warm glow. The collective effect of the many LEDs is the appearance of a 'cosmos of stars' (or a swarm of fireflies) trapped in a jar._x000D__x000D_The Jar is supplied with the LED string lights, but these can be removed and other light sources can be installed in the jar to provide different decorative lighting effects. The jar is supplied with a tea light holder which can replace the LED string light. This extends the use of the jar to a traditional tea light lantern. In addition, after emptying the contents of the jar users can place a pillar candle on its base and then surround it with decorative sand or small stones to prop the candle up. In this way users can extend the use of the jar to a pillar candle lantern. Finally, users can empty the jar, fill it halfway with water and then use floating tea light candles to create an additional lighting effect. _x000D__x000D_The Jar can be used as a decorative light anywhere in the home as it suits all types of room decor. It can also be used outdoors in the garden on summer evenings to provide a little bit of light. (Do not leave outdoors).
