Designed to hang long, this necklace features a mix of faux pearls and Chanel's logo-embossed medallions. It is secured with a spring ring clasp for a secure look. Double it up for a layered look. Coco Chanel was the first designer to introduce her faux pearls into her collections. This sparked a trend that remains one of the staple items of costume jewellery today. Layers of pearls were seen on her simple couture clothes worn by Chanel herself. In the 1930's Chanel partnered with Duke Fulco de Vedura, of Verdura Jewellery to launch a collection of timeless designs including byzantine jewellery that Chanel introduced into her collections too.
