The STIGA Twinclip 55 SH BBC is a self-propelled rotary lawnmower which due to the innovative ‘twin clip’ blade improves grass cutting and collecting by 20% compared to standard mowers. The blade is double layered with 4 cutting faces, this technology combined with STIGA’s cyclone collection system will ensure a superior cut and less time mowing. A professional quality 53cm hybrid aluminium and galvanised steel deck is enhanced with anti-corrosive aluminium components and the addition of a BBC (Blade Brake Clutch) is particularly handy when needing to empty the grass collector or transport the mower across paths. The BBC works by stopping the blades turning whilst the engine is still running and minimising downtime. Fitted with a high performing and reliable Honda GXV 160 OHV engine, the Twinclip 55 SH BBC is both powerful and economical. The mower has three mowing options: collecting using the advanced cyclone collection system into the large 70 litre grass collector; rear discharge for a less formal finish; mulching which cuts and re-cuts the cuttings into fine pieces and blows them back to the lawn. A sturdy central lever adjusts the 7 height adjustments and offers cutting heights from 25 – 77 mm.
