Built as dedicated grass collecting machines, the Estates also offer mulch plug and grass deflectors as optional extras. These both make the Estate mowers more versatile. Mulching is ideal during dry, hot conditions. Grass cuttings are mulched into tiny pieces and then blown back on to the lawn where they virtually disappear. These tiny pieces then provide additional nutrients and moisture to the lawn and promote healthier regrowth. Adding a grass deflector to the mower allows the clippings to be discharged from the rear of the machine. These clippings can then be left to wilt back naturally.
