Description
As an action RPG created by developers of the Titan Quest, Grim Dawn is one of the most interesting Hack'n Slash games. It provides you not only with battles with tons of enemies but also, with an interesting world and story. The Forgotten Gods DLC adds many new features and makes the experience with a game, more interesting. In this expansion, you are finally able to journey far beyond the borders of the Empire. You are going to visit volcanic wastes and vast deserts.Furthermore, you are going to find long-forgotten places and soon you are going to find out, that they should not be visited. The DLC provides you with a new, big story chapter where you are going to learn the history of places forgotten by humans as well as Gods. Grim Dawn Forgotten Gods also brings a new class known as the Oathkeeper. A melee-oriented class which does not rely on the equipment with good tanking abilities. However, one of the most interesting parts of the expansion pack is a new game mode called The Shattered Realm. It is an endless dungeon with 73 custom levels, which are picked randomly. The difficulty is rising with each finished stage and further you go the better are rewards. The Shattered Realm provides a fair amount of challenge for players. Furthermore, there are other elements added to the game like new factions, items, enemies, bosses, etc.GameplayThe core of the gameplay was not changed. However, the Grim Dawn: Forgotten Gods expansion adds a few new features. Besides a new gameplay mode, the DLC also implements new enchantments and Transmutation. As the name suggests, transmutation allows you to pick duplicate set items from your inventory and reroll them. Thanks to this, you will be provided with a new set-piece. In other words, finally, duplicates are worth something.
